None know his true purpose.
A few men try to seek it.
Though none can see the truth.
No matter how they seek it.
God never shows his intent.
God can command an army.
Even the most powerful men.
Can be bent to his will,
If he so chooses.
God wants a new garden of Eden.
Though only those who have not,
Tasted the forbidden fruit may enter.
God works in mysterious ways.
He punishes the unrighteous.
He shelters the righteous.
With his godly power,
God strokes away the unfaithful.
God is all knowing.
As he watches the world,
Beneath him, he searches
For the snake in his garden.
God is love.
Everything he does is divine.
He puts the world in order.
As the demons try,
To take his power,
He strikes them down.
Each day more come to God.
Wanting to be in his good graces,
So they may dodge the flames of Hell.
God giveth,God taketh away.
When you see the beautiful Light
Go to the Light.
Embrace the Light.
Don't fear the Light
For the Light,
Is your only chance for salvation.
Follow the Light.
Hallelujah
Times are at end.
The world is dying.
Dreams of Eden will crumble.
For those who follow Lucifer,
Shall cast down the almighty God.
God is dead.
Author notes
Before you think this some Christan poem this is very cryptic,I based this poem off of the character Light Yagami from the anime death note.I normally don't say how my poems are being cryptic but I don't feel like getting in a flame war. I was cryptic about almost everything I wrote.I'm just going to explain that I hope you can get the other references.

Do you think this is about God?
This is about an anime charcther Who becomes deranged and thinks he's God. I don't know if that's the right way to explain it.Or maybe he wants to be God.I used Christan themes to be cryptic. -

I don't do thinking it's about anything. I tend to ignore meanings in poems, whether they're obvious or not. For now, it reminds me of a recent discussion, so my comment is about that discussion.

Yeah
I could see how Two seasons of Death note made this poem.lol I am too much of an anime nerd.It's a great show by the way. Though now that I think on it "god is dead" does sum up by view of God pretty good.
