She twists and she twirls,
That pretty little dancer.
She sways to the beat that matches her heart.
Never kissed, but asking to be.
With each song that passes she is still alone.
That pretty little dancer danced night after night.
Finally she realized what she had been looking for,
Was right under her nose.
And that pretty little dancer was finally not alone.
For now she had a partner who danced as good as she.
The girl was finally in love,
But most importantly loved.

I wrote this when I could not fall asleep so not sure if it's good. Would love advice on how to make it better.

Interesting, it seems unusual for you but good. In the 10th line 'as good as she' is a little akward but there really no better way for it. All in all very good and sweet.
