spearmint flavored in its prime
ready for the chosen moment
slapped across the tongue
a grinding rent to sweeten breath
saliva carried to the waiting senses
sucked dry and done
grafted surreptitiously

A great bit to be derived
This gum has more than spearmint flavor, it has the savor of life. The senses are awakened by this piece and carried to a new state of being. There is a spark of mystery and suspense to "grafted surreptitiously". It tantalizes curiosity and shows an artistic flair. A great bit to be derived from something most would turn away from. Congratulations on the trophy. -
i like it. i see gum could be so many things in just one moment. and in that moment it may be nothing at all. but for what i was looking for. gum was exactly what it needed to be and it was used and "sucked dry and done." very well done i like this write alot
