What would I do if you gave me a sunflower?

I would hold it for a few seconds
And then
I would put it in my hair

And say thanks.

That is all I would do.

What would I feel if you gave me a sunflower?

I would feel nothing
And then
I would feel beautiful

And I would say thanks.

That is all I would feel.

What would I remember about being given a sunflower?

I would remember summer
And then
I would remember love

And I would say thanks.

And that is all I would need to remember.
