I get told, “You have so much”,
Husband, children and more...
But yet, I feel so alone.

What do I seek, in this world?
so full of people but yet, so empty
I search my soul for answers,
my heart for questions.

It is like the emptiness around me
so busy and full of nothings.  Is it me?
I ask myself, do I attract the emptiness,
the loneliness, did I bring it on myself?

With answers come questions, a war
I alone must fight, a lonely place I alone can
fill with more than this....

I cry out to the only person that knows me
better than I know myself, “God are you there?”, and She
answers, “I have been waiting”, welcome...

You are no longer alone......

    Welcome to Allpoetry

It is possible to feel so alone, even though you are surrounded by people.
What we have in life doesn't mean we have to feel as though we are happy.

Your words show sadness, and longing. I think that your faith shows how you believe so deeply. It's refreshing, and something you should hold onto.

I hope that you enjoy the site, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask
I encourage you to comment others and generate activity for yourself!

    Good job, keep writing.

I have heard it said that we all have a god shaped hole within us... waiting to be filled...... I believe we have also have a 'purpose' shaped hole too though... waiting for us to fill it via the expression of our gifts and talents, put to good use..... towards the benefit of others.

    Nice poem.... welcome to AP
