essence of a destiny innate.
Replete with neverending desire;
a hunger that feeds the fire.
Searching along shore and sea;
one true need... a thorn tree.
A noble truth she will attain;
pleasure acheived with pain.
To her death she devotes
hauntingly, bittersweet notes.
Echos heard within the heart;
as her spirit will slowly depart.
Within agony's sweet sorrow;
the world will see tomorrow.
For her, it is her only day
to sing her song only her way.
Reaching beyond the clouds;
silence among the crowds.
A stillness over the land for miles;
in her joy, God looks down, and smiles.

That was beautifully written
What can I say you had me captive to your poem.
I loved every word.
but you really did it for me when you reached here
' pleasure acheived with pain.'
after this your flow was perfect your metaphores were well planned and your story was unforced and it flowed.
Beautiful and your ending was brilliantly penned
