How can I not keep reaching?
When you're all that I desire?
I cannot stop succeeding,
for I'm cold and you're the fire.
The path I seek runs toward you;
I cleave to it like hot molten ash.
Forever, I aspire just to delight you.
Some may consider me to be rash.
But, its not rash to chase the one
who sets your heart to rare ecstasy;
and how can one not entertain
the thoughts of their own fantasy?
I daydream and night-dream of you.
I seek your feet to bow and kiss.
The only reason for my existence,
is to offer you worship such as this.
Though in my reach I sometimes falter
I don't always fully come up to par.
but you can bet I'm truly aiming hard;
entirely thankful that I've come this far.

"How can one not entertain the thought of their own fantasy?" Very nice. I too don't like the poems that seem to talk in riddles, never makes sense and only seem to have a bunch of beautiful words put together. What you have written I had no trouble understanding.

Hm.. I like it I like it alot. It's very nice. I don't hear alot of poems that I can understand every word there saying. It really paints a picture.
