They Tell Me Not To Scream [Of the Pain Inside]

In days passing, I walk silently though halls,
People laughing, as the pain eats away inside me,
feeding on the supposed walls of my heart
Where now echos, and I feel nothing.
They tell me not to take a blade, to search inside for the pain,
But why? Does this concern them, in any way?
Does it hurt them to see the scars, or am I just a puppet,
To follow directions blindly,
And do what I'm told?
If that is your intention,
I'm afraid I'll have to say no.
Why can't I say what I want to say?
Threatening me won't help me anyway.
My dark poetry and masks don't concern you.
Go on with your life, Leave me alone,
For the past is the past
And in the end
I'll still be alone.

Author notes

Yeahhh. I'm pretty sure this wasn't a ''dark'' contest, but I figured, ''Hey, Why not give it a shot.'' So PLEASE critisize me, and please comment and all that stuff. I won't be offended if you remove me, because I'm pretty sure this is only partially what you were looking for. (Freedom of speach).

An interesting view upon your speech
though you took this more on the speech of your body more than your mouth
a bit dark and different, yes, but you wrote what you felt

be you, be true, be open

    take care and be well

  • thats really good. i know how u feel.
