I've tried all those others:
Tom, Crack, and Ice.
Found out Marijuana,
Is not very nice.
And that foul thing called beer,
(Or Aidan for short)
Cost a tear and a half,
For less than a quart!
And the list could go on...
I could write it all day;
On the hearts that have burned
And then smoked away.
But I'm done writing for them.
I quit each in the past.
Now I'm writing to say,
"I hope this one's the last!"

The jokes and the words,
And - (Ooooh! Shiny bird!)
The sound of your voice,
And I'm left without choice.

Now I've tried all the programs;
The patches and pills.
I've chewed so much gum,
Now my jaw simply kills!
I've tried quitting cold turkey,
Hot ham, and warm beef.
Compared to you they were easy,
Like lifting a leaf!

Could it be you're addicted,
Just as much to me too?
