I can imagine what it feels like
To have everything you need
And not feel satisfied
To always want more
No matter how much your bounty
Continues to grow with time
To never fully appreciate
The ones who love you most
The ones you need
How could you be so selfish?
As to forget the rest of the world
You left us all behind
I guess that in your mind
The world is just a revolving ball
Which will always revolve around you
Now in my dreams at night
I toss and turn wondering uselessly
...Will you ever change?
My aged mind in my youthful body
Can sense deep inside
It'll always be this way
Your selfishness rots your soul
Comatosing your black heart
Consumed by yourself.
Taken in by the thoughts
Diminished by your own emptiness
A hollow shell of a life.
Author notes
Yeah, I don't know. I've never written like this before, so it could be a total disaster. Sorry.
