The Dress Address

I'd taken hours that felt like years to straighten out my hair
and picked the perfect pretty pink and orange dress to wear
I'd gone commando makeup-wise, so my whole face was bare
well I felt fine and time was flying and I just didn't care.
It was my eighth grade graduation, I was like a kite
higher than the whole huge ceremony, walking up five flights
to ascend the stairs a graceful person, willing, peaceful, right?
But little did I know, something would ruin my whole night...
When we aligned our little selves and went over the dress
I felt a strange sensation as I walked with all the rest
On stage, the stares ensured me that I surely looked the best
But my ass was showing, white and glowing, to hundreds of guests.

I suppose the gory details, I could really stand to spare
but when you leave the bathroom, it's dress OVER underwear!

Author notes

I had somehow managed to tuck my dress into my underwear and my ass was exposed to teachers, faculty, students, and parents alike. Horrific. I have yet to live it down.
