A Friend First

An old friendship started anew,
emotions from grey to blue.

Its good to know,
we've not fallen so low.

a revolution,
confusion.

if I hadn't known better,
one would have thought it an illusion.

a friend first,
a friend forever.

no pain will break that teather,
more durable than leather.

"a force in readyness",
waiting for any who tresspasses.

all who dare,
beware a friend first yes.

but arms I am not afraid to bare.
