A sigh of reflection
a sigh of relief
a moments rest
from a longing grief
Alone I sigh
Alone I breathe
A time of contemplation
Peace I seek
Now its time
to wake up again
I sigh once more
a new day begins
A vicious circle
and so it repeats
I'll sigh once more
as hope conquers and defeats
When is the time?
at which I sigh with relief?
Upon one simple thought
one solitary belief
That one day
and hopefully soon
I'll be in your arms
and to sorrow be immune
and thus, I sigh...
In a list

If sighs turned to tears we would drown within ourselves, at times.
There is much yearning in this poem ... that for companionship, an end to the war against loneliness ... albeit at times solitude can be a human need and a bringer of peace, and one can learn to be comfortable within his own skin, can we ever have solitude for long, without it sometimes growing or bordering loneliness? When is it that solitude becomes isolation etc?.
Faith and hope are two oars for the canoe of each soul, to aid its voyage forwards, to stop it floundering. Keep on rowing
We are never immune to sorrow, no matter the age we reach or pass through; without sorrow we cannot truly appreciate or identify joy, I believe. There are reasons for the opposing factors of life, and too, balance to be found between them; beauty in the dark not just the light (and so on).
There are few feelings or states of being, able to rival lying in the arms of one with whom you feel connected.

I loved the ending, and the impression of not being able to feel sadness. The background is amazing

More than romantic, powerful emotion and the ending just clever...immune to sorrow...wow,and the graphic, a rainbow waterfall it appears...and that would be a promise to hold onto. Excellent. Blessings.
