Nature's Slideshow

Sliding glass walls of water droplets
splattered on the ground like eggs
hitting a concrete floor.
I gaze up and catch a diamond in my eye
like a speck of sentiment
but no tear do I cry.

I frown while blinking in a deluge
soaked completely but I don't melt
stretching to enjoy the water.
My mind takes a picture as I gaze
at the forest that alters colour
as the leaves reflect light catchers.

Rain drops refract green tinted rainbows
to an atmosphere of life and breath
as I puff out a white cloud.
It joins with its brethren up in the sky
where it twirls, merges and dances
to be swept into another world.
