Author notes
COP THAT WHITEY!!!
i'm not really into horoscopes but i read one a while ago that has stuck in my mind. it told me i needed to step outside of society's expectations. that's what inspired this piece.

Good write fellow poet! So good to be free outside the box. Like the message very much writtten for us by your poetic pen and agree totally! Well done poet!

Hmm. Interesting. Quite a nice little poem I have to say. I liked it.
I don't read horoscopes that much either. Nice job getting silver, by the way.

congratulations are in order
that perfectly structured box is too small
for my high voltage nature
then the box would blow up! probably best for the people still in the box that you refuse to be kept in something too limited. I hope you enjoy your freedome, you appear to have unwavering dedication to being free as a bird in flight. good job. -
i like your attitude, good job
-
Superb Plus
'tis a very fine write, indeed. I have always believed that it is better to "think outside the box". This poem also reminds me of two old sayings: 1) "Be careful of the rut you choose (career), you may be in it for the rest of your life." 2) "The only difference between a rut and a grave, is that one is deeper than the other." Thanks for sharing. -
great write, i like the lines that describe your personality especially, like "high voltage nature"
excellent job, hope to read more.

-
Ah..what an enlightening message you brought in wonderful poetic journey here my friend..love it..and many thanks fort sharing it...
-
Challenge restrictions and convention - set yourself free.
-
Freedom would be nice, i totally agree. Sometimes it's tempting just to say no to the restraints of convention and do your own thing, but i have never been daring enough to do that, knowing that in a conventional world i must live accordingly in order to live. If you are brave enough to do so, then congratulations on that. Nice write btw thanks for advertising

I clapped after reading this.. So true.. We all have the right to be affin free.. Why live our lives tip toeing about?!

And yeah u hit the nail on the head with the part that says we want to be more free than our mothers know..

Oooooo...let's go. I'm all for breaking free of life's monotany. People look at you like you are crazy for doing your own thing...but who cares what they think? Maybe I am

-
-
i've been doing my own thing my entire life and i've been called crazy just as long

if it's true and i am a nut, i'm happy to be one. live life, skip home if you want to, dance in the rain, jump in puddles and giggle while you're at it... we only get one chance and i'm not planning on wasting mine xx
-
-
Exactly. Funny thing is, when I really get going...they quit looking at me so crazy and start to join in
-
-
yup! and they always have fun too
-
-
-
-
I'm with you on this one...I think you may have just shut whitey up on this one...but then again, probably not lol

-
yes to question 1 and 2.
I just try my best to live outside that box. I don't watch t.v, I don't go clubbing, I make art and drink coffee and go to concerts and hike. I just do my own thing. And my mom used to knock on my door at 5 in the morning for lines of meth, so there's that.
I really dig the encouraging nature of this

-
Bravo! my dear poet friend your words ring like a bell that resonates truth and should be heard all over the world

-
-
OHhHH.. bless your cotton socks. thank you!! these are my true beliefs and i will stick to them till the day i leave this earth xx
-
-
i really liked this get up and go for it piece

-
I took this piece exactly opposite your intentions right up to the 'high voltage'... and even then I could force the opposite all the way through-
philosophically I guess I'm saying that 'society' was formed over many generations of trial and error... and that 'wanting to be freer than society will allow' is simply to repeat the 'error'... ! (and I know first-hand)
but a nice clean write... three clappies for that...

-
-
and i respect your views on this but in my mind and my world, i beg to differ. society can hold their views... my heart holds different beliefs and i believe society has the utmost right to call me crazy, but i do not wish to follow the herd of sheep i see as wasting away their lives.
my reality is a world with no expectations, no shackles and no control. i do not believe in organised religion and i do not believe one 'group' holds all knowledge of life as we know it.
if we live freely, with the promise never to harm others... to live with respect of all views and others beauty to be who they want to be...
happiness and freedom is ours to hold.
i may be too much of an optimist, i have mostly buddhist beliefs - but at my death bed i will love all for who they choose to be so long as they do not bring harm to others.
that is what my poem is about... and i will live by these beliefs until the day i die.
thank you for your clappies, my friend. we all have our views of "the meaning of life" and i appreciate yours xx
MWAH!!
-
-
and guess what embodies that 'promise'...
-
-
tell me, tell me, tell me...
-
-
hey! glad I got you to ponder... lol
'society' is that 'promise', or, rather, more accurately, the result of that promise constantly being broken! For, as the Communists painfully (and repeatedly) found out, the nature of man is nothing to put one's trust in...
(I'll give human nature about 2 million more years of evolution before it's actually trustworthy, and the world you envision can exist...) -
-
ahh... yes, it is not often we can truly trust those around us.
i say the sieve of life will devour those without true meaning. we all trust people who should not be trusted, i do not doubt that. i have had my fair share of those not worthy of my love.
in life, we do have to trust SOMEONE, unless we want to live our lives alone and desolate.
i know i am one of those who will never betray a promise. surely there are more of us who live life to be happy and love unconditionally.
we are a rare breed, but we do exist. i believe it is more about our upbringing and revolt of greed.
to me... success has nothing to do with education or money or the ability to control. success is to die happy and loved and to be surrounded by those who care.
fuck everything else... AHMEN, for want of a better term.
xx
-
-
ahhhhh... I'll just dwell on that 'dying happy' for a while...
-
-
so... does that mean i win??? did i win the debate my dear friend? say yes, or i'll have beat you up. i'd have no choice
-
-
if winning is you standing over me as I go ahhhhhh, then yes...
-
-
OH YEAH!!! DEE WINS AGAIN!!!! ALL CLAP FOR DEE AND DANCE, DANCE, DANCE... DANCE IN YOUR FANCY PANTS

love ya guts wbiro xxxxxxx MWAH!!!

How do you get the words to line up in the middle of the page?
-
-
its quite simple... i tell them
"line up in the middle of the fucking page or i'll wipe you bastards into neverland".
are gold members blessed with alignment? gold member hehehehehe
-
-
Well it worked for you!
-
-
-
what did freddy baby sing, you can be anything you want to be, be free... something like that, i am not into horror scopes but i do like chocolate scoops of ice cream we all scream to be free.

-
-
