A cool blue car car went vvroom around the road,
the car car passed a doggy, a kitty, and a toad.
When the car car went fast it got very LOUD,
and the car car was very proud of his sound.
One day the blue car car stopped for a nap,
he pretended that he was asleep in mom's lap.
Cole the blue car car knew what was best,
holding his mommy when he wanted to rest.
Just when Cole the car car started to sleep,
he heard a deep voice that started to speak.
"Koltin it is your daddy, how are you son?"
"Your are the greatest love I have known"
The cool blue car car got back to the road,
and Cole the car car knew whatever his load,
he can always trust that his parents are here,
whenever he doesn't know which way to steer.
Second poem about my nephew.

I rarely like to use the term "cute" to describe poetry, but that is exactly the word that came to mind after I read this. I take it your nephew is rather young judging by the repetitive use of "car car." It's a wonderful way to let him know on a level he can understand better just what his parents are there for. I have found over the years that it takes a special person to seek inspiration in such a way for a child. Really, wonderfully executed, if I may say.
Write on,

Thank you for the praise. I am glad you saw something to appreciate in this. My nephew is young and he loved the sounds and voices I used when reading this to him, although the message may not yet be understood.
