You see the thing about perfect is
That it is undeniably boring
And all together,
Not real
And not possible
I'd much rather sit here
With my stitched up heart
And tear stained face
Waiting for a better day
Not a perfect one,
Just better
What you also have to realize is
That by being imperfect
You are being the perfect person
And by seeing the beauty
And the unlimited possibility in that
You become just what you should be

ok so for school i had to read the truth about forever and its themes of perfectness, forever, and possibility really got to me
so yeah this isn't a poem, more like thoughts but i like it
