To A Friend

I checked the weather in Washington
To know if you could see the stars tonight
Because it’s the only thing we have in common
And it might be my only right

What a beatiful and truly sweet poem for a wonderful friend and a great guy on this site. As I have said so many times before, you have such wonderful ability to say so much with so few words. I truly enjoyed reading this poem. It touched me. It is so great to see so much honest caring here in this cruel world. Great job, as always, and keep up the excellent work.

  • Kinda suprised you didn't add the AN about why you wrote this poem sweetay but it doesn't matter because I knew what you were saying. anyways I basically told ya what was going on but the urges to end it all becomes stronger with every intense horrific pain spasms I deal with but I will never truly do anything to end it all in you catch my drifty. anyways welp yes I cna see the stars somewhat and I always think boutcha among other people as well but yea you take away those stars and we'd have pretty much nuffin in common. overall this is a sweetly penned beautifully done poem and I enjoyed the read. thanks for caring so much rachel though ya barley kno who I am and thats fine ebcause you ay you get to kno a poet through their works and not just from words plastered on a apge or on websites ect. anyways I'll be bakc before ya kno it and even though it hurts to type all this out im toughin it out becauise I want too. anyways keep writing & link me whatever comes out of your head persay ( if its something I don't wanna kno bout that comes outta your head then don't write bout it LOL ) anyways keep up the nic ewwork. ya and G'Bye for now

I read the poem before I read the title and it changed the way i saw the meaning of this poem.. It's indeed very sad but also happy.

This is very cute!... but also sad in a way?
    Brilliant poem as usual, though.
