I-Water Bottle

Like a water bottle
Name brand, not the cheap stuff
I gave you nourishment
Replenished your body with my simple formula
I even added vitamins and minerals to the mix
You drank me in so slowly
I was in love with your lips
(gulp gulp gulp)
Refreshing!
A sigh of relief when your done draining me
And you threw me away on the side of the road
Not even bothering to recycle
And I sit here, waiting for the end
Waiting for you
For anyone to fill me up again
Sure, the rain helped a little
But it's water is filled with toxins and pollution
It makes me sick
Then I see you on the same route again
Jogging your beautiful figure my way
My  proverbial heart leaps with glee
Then is shattered to tiny molecular,plastic pieces
When I see you with another bottle (the cheap stuff)
You step on me and the dirt from your shoe leaves a print
Has a bottle ever felt so minuscule?

So, I am left crushed and disfigured

You can't even see the name brand or how much I'm worth anymore

But at least
