This dirt track, secluded
with trees on either side
are shedding their leaves.
This crispy golden road.
[CHORUS]
Some green, some gold,
some red, some brown.
Autumn is a wonderful season,
so beautiful, so precious.
The track, covered in
autumn leaves so crispy,
crumple and crunch under
the weight of my feet.
A gust of wind lifts
the leafy corpses and
they circulate around me
spiralling up into the blue, clear sky.

^.^ hehe there's so much to say about this lovely piece here. First off you did really great with the picture prompt. You have captured the meaning of Autumn so beautifully. I never read something like this before. This is very different from what I have read and seen so far. You're very creative and unquie in your own way. I love how you put it in a song which makes this poem much more better than usual! Very beautiful poem indeed! So much emotion. Precious and sweet. It makes me smile. I love atumn too. The colors of the leaves are so beautiful. :]
My favorite part would have to be

An interesting description fall leaves, I've never thought of them as leafy corpses, you made me think and now I'll never view leaves the same again. Keep writing this caliber of poetry and you will definitely develop a following.
