This solitude is so immense,
Sweet waves cajole,
‘take me, take me’ they tempt with salty kisses
At bare toes.
Hush and sigh, hush and sigh,
Whisper
Hush and sigh, hush and sigh,
Whisper.
You’re battered, broken
The sweet waves teased, dared you
‘take me, take me,’ they burble against the sand
Endless rolls of passion.
Hush and sigh, hush and sigh,
Whisper
Hush and sigh, hush and sigh,
Whisper.
And so what, what did you live for?
Just the bitter sweet waves,
The blinding sea spray to which you whispered
Truth behind the lies.

Not sure if I got the correct imagery across, but have some fun with your own interpretation!

THOUGHTFUL!!!!
One often is made to feel not their worth, lies and other things abound in this world and temptation is all around. Ones strength lies within and with honesty and love they will go on.

I got the idea that suicide was part of this but that could be a rather dark interpretation. Otherwise just a doubt about the point of life. But then I suppose it could also be allegorical and the waves are actual people. So many different readings and I think thats a sign of a good poem. I liked the repetition, like a chorus of the sea getting into the brain somehow. Some really good imagery here, well written. Good luck in the contest.
