Cold, confused
She shivers as she looks on
Like she's far away, in a distant world
When really its metres not light years away

It doesn't make sense in her head anymore
And she is out of his head
Her eyes glaze, poor little girl starts to cry
A single tear runs down her flushed cheek
Eyes burning, brain spinning, heart pounding
Exploding through her fragile chest
Like a bullet through a sheet of gold
As her breathing struggles, lungs desperately ask for air
A beautiful, sad, violent loss
Of happiness she never wanted to end
Even though she knew fate was inevitable
She turned away
Saying goodbye with a look of sheer longing
Wishing, praying he would hold her back
And never let her go
But he let her go
So she turned away
I turned away and it ended
