so much depends
upon

a clock on the wall

the cat in the chair

the dog on the couch

the big dipper

sitting in the dark

watching a candle burn

    ah time - we all are ruled by it, and friends-pets to keep us company in the night, many times i have watched the night sky, the stars and just let imagination go wild. a good poem.
