Key-less Heart Box
Here you go, I would love you
(but it's locked away)
It's in this box for two
(but there's no key)
I want to love you, I do
(but the key has been taken)
So I'll give you this box for two
(someone stole the key)
My lonely heart is blue
(because I can't set it free)
For I can't love you
(someone else already stole the key)
Gently wipe off the morning's dew
(can't find the key)
As I tell you what my heart already knew
(there's no key anymore)
(no key)
(anymore)

I won't say what I thought of when this poem flowed through my hands, but those who know anything of my past only know half the story behind this one.

Well
I reckon I know who wrote this piece. Very cleverly crafted, I loved the insides that brought steadily greater depth and emotion. Strong write, very well placed together. Good emotion. Thank you for this great entry.

Thank you! Yesh, it is. I'm actually in that kind of situation right now. If you'd like the details, I'll tell you them in a message.
