I enjoy being penetrated by simple, stellar haikus like this one
The aha is perfect; like the flower was struggling but still held on after it's 'chilled blood' drained. And, I like the description of "silence," implying that the cut may not have been very big for the public to notice screams of wilting - but it's still there.
It's such an amazing discovery of survival and growth, and you penned it wonderfully,
