Final Resting Place

Missing image

Final
resting places
beneath worm-ridden soil;
secrets bared only to demons.

They claw at tattered funeral garments,

to get to death's barterd souls.
Loved ones cry foolishly,
but nothing is
final

    exactly why I want to be cremated. nice job. This is a picture perfect rictameter. Thank you for entering. I especially like the way your first and last words come together, making the rictameter a complete thought.

    Very good thoughts contained within your poem, and makes the reader think of what there is after this life.

    WOW...

    I really like this one, sis. The message is subjective but it will start the brain juices...hey, I might use that in one of your contest. I thought about this contest but haven't come up with anything. What you wrote is good...nothing is final!

    Powerful

    Such a tremendous use of the rictameter form. And the emotions truly flow. Best of luck in the contest.
