Natural

Natural…

Natural as wind blowing against the trees,
Growing high there down the hills.
You stood out there in front of me…
Natural as your lips when they meekly sketch a smile to me

And have enough will to utter a word.
Yet it dies prematurely and before it could be born
On those eyes of yours that look in silence
And speak the least words to me.

With those eyes that were brimming with tears
That you in vain tried to hide away
Yet I could read from the tears that fell out of your eyes
Straight onto your rosy cheeks….

The lines of time that stood mute so far away
That broke out in rage in the face of time…
Blaming every single beat of my heart …
Blaming time, blaming space, blaming me for things I know, I never did

And through my guts came sweeping a blaze…
That took my breath and simply crashed me
Behind which there was no room for either fears or smiles at all
Yet enough space for solitude

As I spent the whole night in the bliss of silence,
That so dear companion of mine…
Thus my point could but be:
Do never walk away from someone who is trying to love you…

  • I do like what you share ...

as there are some very familiar happenings in this poem as well. I think that you're on to something and would encourage you to see if, once again, you could tweak this by having someone else read it aloud to you and see if you can't hear where it could be smoothed over. The last line: Do never walk ... needs sincere adjustment. I realize that it may be a language difference but honestly you are sharing some deep-felt thoughts that others could ID with. joy
