The earth is a wonder, no doubt
But did you ever wonder
What could be beneath your feet?
Stalagmites and stalagtites!
The wonders of the underworld
Not of evil but of pure beauty
Everywhere you turn they cry
Their drippings falling on you,
And create puddles on the path
You follow that path to descend
Under the earth you go!
What a creation, these rocks!
All around you, created by no human
These caverns were used
By those born many years before you
You dare touch the crying stalagmite!
No...its too beautiful to caress
To want to touch it, too would be selfish
Caverns of the underworld,
An awaited treasure loved by all
Won't you go see them yourself?
