I don't see anything bright
I want it all to be black
no red doors, please
The glamor girls walk around
in their fashionable clothes
while I am dressed in black
It's not fair, how the world
lies to us, and paints a picture
of everything beautiful, colorful
Leaving no remorse in my eyes
or a bitter joke of fake smiles
and pretty, flowery dresses
So, take all of the rainbows
and save them for some other
rainy day's aftermath...
...Paint it black...

Very nicely done.
I liked the balance of this poem and the way it speaks out but not in an overpowering way.
