Sunset On The Lake

During a boat ride on the Fourth of July,
I looked out at the evening sky
And saw a beautiful sun setting on the lake
The most prettiest pastel colors it did make
That water made me feel so serene,
Almost as if it were a dream
Then, there were fireworks going off way high,
Lighting up the warm summer sky
It was very romantic as it faded away,
And was a perfect end to a lovely holiday
