Fifty thousand roses
Lying under me
I'm falling in an ocean
That's pretty as can be
Engulfing not my body
It's my soul that drowns within
I fought away these roses
Just to fall back in again
Tried to float a heart
On the surface of the sea
It got pulled in so quickly,
A big surprise to me
Knew that I was safe
Behind the safety of my walls
But didn't want to stay within
And walk those empty halls
I find I like to be
In your warm, embracing arms
I know that I am safe with you,
You'd never bring me harm.
