So, I'm staring at
this little tan puppy
not even a fourth of my size.
Yet he's lookin' at me
like he could swallow me whole
like he's the 100 pound monster, not me!
Now he's even
staring to growl
and, believe this, our pet takes his side.
The little puppy
with the tennis ball in his mouth
thinks he's the 100 pound monster.
So we're settling this
the old fashion way
with a good ole game of piling paws.
He checks me with
a single move
and I'm wondering if he's innocent at all.
He steals my treats
my spot on our pet's lap
and not to mention my "bombing" spots.
So maybe next time
my pet will decide
to get a better puppy.

Quite cute, reminds me of my Pyrannean mountain dog. have you ever seen one? well they start out as cuddly fluffy darlings and grow to 150 Lb. monsters. Could not figure out "the pet". If you can sit on its/her/his lap then that`s pretty big too.
