I come today to honor a man,
Who’s debt I can’t repay.
One who’s earned my full respect,
The good old fashioned way.
Learning from an early age,
Working dusk till dawn.
A welcome hand when things got tough,
Honest as the day is long.
A leader with a vision,
With his eyes upon the prize.
His efforts were rewarded,
When his dreams were realized.
Today the Bug Killer name,
Is one of which I’m proud.
Feelings which I’m sure I share,
With those now in this crowd.
I’m honored to be a part,
Of his extended family.
I’m really sad to see him go,
He meant that much to me.
I knew him only six short years,
But I learned a lot from him.
My boss, my teacher, and my friend,
The one I know as Jim.
We will miss you.
