Sacrament

I have prayed at your altar
On my knees I begged forgiveness,
I cried out for release
You where my salvation.

My impure and damned soul
Could never find paradise,
Untill I discovered your purity
Blinded by your holy light.

Under the gentle caress
Of my anointed blade,
Your soul gave voice
To hymns of blessed pain.

Only by the blood of martyrs
Can the damned enter paradise,
Only by the saviour's example
Can the fallen find redemption.

Mine was not an act of cruelty
It was an act of faith,
If I am to see the gates of heaven
I must show you a vision of hell.

The true soul lies within
It is that which I seek,
That most pure Eucharist
The Communion of righteousness.

This is my Flesh
Sayeth the Lord,
This is my blood
Sayeth the Lord.

Your flesh for his flesh
Your blood for his blood,
I take you into myself
And repent of my sins.
