Absent minded, yet beautiful.
The morning and evening star.
She wears pearls and fancy lace,
and drives the most expensive car.
She gets on stage
to give fame another shot.
Picture perfect and in control,
pretending to be something shes not.
When underneath the shining lights,
shes in an imaginary place;
and free from the memories
shes been longing to erase.
But when make believe is over
shes still broken and misled;
and later that night
paramedics pronounced
her
dead
