Whenever I’m very sad or mad or lonely I cut,
But I only started to get attention.
"Maybe if I cut people will notice and stick around,"
But they didn’t they just acted as they didn’t care.
So if they don’t care if I cut what’s the point in staying here
So I cut more and harder
As I stare down at the blood dripping from my wrist
Like tear drops I wonder if anyone care if I die so I just cry,
cry until the pain finally starts to fade in,
stinging and burning and I wish I had never done it in the first place
But if I get mad enough I still end up doing it again, again.

i can really relate to the pain and emotion behind the poem, cutting does take away the pain, but only for a little while. Releasing stress and hatred the blood falls...
but if you go to far, you could ruin whatever was planned for you. You are not alone! great write,

okay well i can really relate to this as the pain we feel when cutting makes us forget about our emotional feelings, its as if though releasing yourself of heartache...
not good though as if we allow that to control us we tend to forget who we are and that by cutting ourselves it means we dont even care for ourselves... okay im blabbing!!

How much attention do you require?
Are you recovering from this? It seems people give up on others that don't give a care about themselves. Makes them real mad for some odd reason. I had a 8 x 10 word picture hanging on my wall that said,"Marrying the right person don't make a perfect marriage. Being the right person does."
Make yourself someone that people would like to be around, or else you may keep getting the same results you've been getting in the past.

Geee, I'm very sorry to read this. I can relate to this quite well, and as much as cutting can be a release so can poetry - only minus the attractive scars. Keep writing and keep myour chin up =)
