Clotted Little Cloth

Now,
I tear this sieve
Must remove the patch
Mute a past
Under no cover
Darkly I gasp
Choke on hope
Awaken this slumber

Knotted and lost
This clotted little cloth
Morose so
Dam devious
These notions will fall
I retain no fail

Now,
Sunlight swims into my skin
Taking marriage
With the pure breeze
Dancing through me

Still this tremor below
Shows just what's in store
But lies to lie me in wait
Harkens take heed
Take heed for the hills

I am resolved
Gaping wounds must heal

What did you think

This is hard to understand, there's a lot to absorb. I didn't connect but there are some great lines. "sunlight swims into my skin", "mute a past" are good lines.

      Thanks...

Yeah, it is loaded with very personal metaphors. Mainly its a a desire for a new beginning, muted by a continuing conflict with fear.
