Kudos

I don't know why i do things.
Granted many people go about their lives with what seems to be a sense of purpose
but in the end they find it was all just a simple delusion.
So  in a way i get up so i can keep myself in
the delusion that I'm doing something worthwhile.

Wisdom is also, to me, a difficult word to describe.
What factors determine what wisdom one has?
Truly you would say to someone in their late 70's
who has been around the world and knows many languages,
"You my friend have wisdom". And with that you toss out the young man
and his inexperience in this "world".

Here is my understanding.
We as humans strive for routines.
Regardless of good or bad we like having a set structure.
From the laziest pot smoker to the hard working business executive.
But that is also our greatest weakness too.
When routine becomes mundane then we start to hate.
Thus we have problems.

I wake in the morning to be deluded.
I wake in the morning to keep in routine.
I wake in the morning to break from the mundane.
Therefore i am in a circle that can only collapse in itself.
Because it is all the same.

As a poem this is very prosey, more of an essay than a poem.
Still some good ideas. You have given this a lot of thought.
Good luck. Thanks for your entry.
