I told my mom I had a lump,
she was scared to death.
She called the doctor right away,
I went in and got it checked.
The doctor said its nothing,
just a little sist, it will be gone soon.
They gave me a ultrasound,
to see the size and found out, its solid.
That means its not a sist,
but it could still be nothing.
They said I needed surgery, i’ll be okay.
So I did just what they said.
They took me in and cut it out,
sent me home the same day.
Two days later they got the results,
it was a Tubular Adenoma.
The nurse explained that was a tumor,
I was lucky it wasn’t cancerous.
I am 15, my family and friends
where scared, they wanted me to be okay.
I was so happy to tell them the news!
I guess a little thing does make a big difference!

Ouch! This is an interesting take on the prompt, and a scary situation as well! I know it is hard sometimes to write about things as frightening as this, but you did a pretty good job. My only advice is to not be afraid to use more metaphor to describe harrowing situations. You could personify the things, use color, all sorts of things to give this write a life of it's own.
Keep at it and thank you for entering my contest -
Wow. I'm glad you're okay. Long time no see, how are you?
