Hooked from birth to the rhetoric from a book
Brain-washed into thinking, forced to blind faith without a look
Words of faith spew from lips, from one unto another sips
Forced religion, your own ideals they don’t matter
To follow any other, has you labeled as mad as a hatter
New religions are born, while others die
Each has a cycle some fall and others fly
Churches, regalia, rhetoric and preachers set as our teachers
Forced religion, your own ideals they don’t matter
To follow any other, has you labeled as mad as a hatter
Religion gets under your skin
Burrows and gets deep within
Turns you against your fellow Man
Gives you ideas you could be Peter Pan
Promises of internal life, 40 Virgins instead of a wife
Who knows what is beyond the pearly gates ?
Who knows who God loves or hates ?
Who knows what faith is right ?
Or for who the Angels fight ?
Forced religion, your own ideals they don’t matter
To follow any other, has you labeled as mad as a hatter

Wow.. wouldn't think you are just a novice at this. You should find a contest to enter that into, would go down well with a lot of people.
