I know you
And I know what you fear.
I can feel you
And I know why you tear.
You are naked
So why try and hide?
You are not forsaken
No it ain't your turn to die.
Curiosity's luminosity
Shines so bright
On your face
As you stumble in from the burning sun
Strung-out into space.
I could ask you
But I know
You would not tell.
You're covered completely
In the shroud of the dark spell.
Crushing looks upon you now
From passersby and friends.
They know where you're headin'.
They know what your head is in.
They know just where it ends.
Time before and time before
Yes, turn and time again
You've come so close.
No matter how I ask of you
I know you won't disclose.
That is all that I ask of you.
Yes, all I want to know.
Won't you please?
Tell me. Tell me. Tell me why
You feel this need to corrode.
I think that I already know.
I've been there before.
I want to hear it
From your lips.
No more lies anymore.
Because, I know you
And I know what you fear.
I can feel you
And I know why you tear.
You are naked
So why try and hide?
You are not forsaken
No its not your time to die.
So, why not be open to the love
That showers down on your thirsty soul
from the stars above?
Well . . .

Beautiful
It its own cynical and dark way. I like it. "Curiosity's luminosity
Shines bright on your face
As you stumble in from the burning sun
Strung-out into space." These are my favorite lines. This is a strong poem, I really enjoyed reading it.
