As the light shines through
Like a hero's glory
She takes her stance
An unfolding bud
The music plays
Like the rustle of the leaves
She flutters around the room
Like a petal in the wind
The smile that once resided inside her
Spreads across her face
The petal's corners curl up
And are lifted with infinite grace
She's carried high
Above the treetops and on the clouds
The music grows louder
Somehow in the utter silence
The bud blooms greater
And the grace is beauty
A simple petal in the wind
