"Bone Dance"

the joint joining ankle and foot,
muted and slim
in dim and tender light
as it rotates,
bending and dipping
in bone dance, dry and shifting
mesmerizing the mesmerizer
in smooth planes
up til' now unexplored.

God help me.

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

and the title "Bone Dance" wouldn'tgenerally
    lend itself to imagery
of sensual movement. but this is quite sensual in my mind.

  • And when wrapped in tender, delicate, beautiful flesh, it really is a sensual, fun area to explore.

Again, the wording used here is great, it is itself, in a way, mesmerizing.

    Good write.

  • This is really trippy! Hmm... I don't remember you writing in such stark imagery like this before. Eerie in it's simplicity.

This is a fun one! It seems to show your raw, critical eye.
