Love, Patience and Guidance

God you know what is in my heart.
When I go left you gently turn me around.
Sending me right.

Your will is mine.
I forget that now and then.
In the busyness of life.

I have a preconceived notion.
That I am on the right path.
No matter how wrong it is for me.
My free will was to let you guide me.

I am trying so hard to be what you want me to be.
It is my thinking that gets in the way.
I need to listen in the quiet when I am at peace.
For you will guide me in your quiet way.

I believe that the opportunities are endless.
With your love, patience and guidance.
Oh God, You do know better what is the good for me.
