a Mothers Love

You start your life so helpless so frightened
and so small,
and so all the love around you means nothing to
at all,
as you took your first breath of air and opened your
tiny eyes,
and so it is at that point that things must change,
the most important one our lives.

You need to be taken care of, you need a mothers
love,
for your life is so free and gentle, as you where sent
from up above,
and as each day is done and another day does start,
you always seem to touch that special place right down
deep in my heart.

And so now daniel you have reached the age of one and
i look back at the work i have done,
sometimes where hard, sometimes where fun, and so i guess
the only thing now left for me to say is...
"i love you, my one and only son".

Dedicated to my first born who is now 18 how time does fly!
