The room would be so quiet
Silent like the full moon night.
Pleasant music embrace my ears
as rich-golden sunlight fell across her longing leer.
She moves in unison with the enchanting orchestra
flowing like the fields of grain in summer.
Her grace reminds me of the winds from sea,
sliding past rocks and through trees.
I would not think she was human
with the way the stage becomes enlighten.
Everyone's eyes would glimmer
as they watch her dance, so very limber.
She is there flying and twirling in the air
blooming before us as we stare.
Butterflies flutter around my heart
as this elegant tulip draws me into her hearth.
The audience is absorbed within the grand arc
each breath elongated, undisturbed by a lark.
Invisible wings send her soaring;
this very leap is so alluring.
The dream drifted on like petals on water
light and floating onto yonder.
Next, I knew, the scene got smaller
as the red velvet curtains were pulled together.
Bouquets flew onto the empty stage,
while I watch the last bit of tulip white fade.
