    Beautifully Written!

Short and sweet and to the point. I couldn't have done a better job myself. Thanks for entering my contest!! Good Luck!!

  • You are doing a remarkable job! I have great respect for those who place verse in author notes to accompany their writes as a back up to what has been written. It not only substantiates the write but helps those who are lost find thier way. I say thank you for that. I am guilty of not always doing that, I used to and I don't know why I don't anymore, perhaps laziness and that is really a poor excuse and one I should be ashamed to admit... which I am, but I can't be anything but honest here and so I must.

This is a very well thought out acrostic. Many times I read acrostics and I cringe because a lot of times people tend to just list things when they write acrostics and that is just not the way an acrostic is meant to be written. It should tell a story about the words listed along the left hand side and your acrostic does just that and it does so quites smoothly. This is a perfect example of how an acrostic is meant to be written. Very nice write here and it was my pleasure to have read and reviewed it.

I wish you the best of luck in the contest dear.

P.S. - Thank you for reminding me of what I should have been doing all along and keep doing what you are doing for as I am a good case to show you that your work is not going unrewarded!

    • Thank you

dear poetess & I agree with you wholeheartedly about ppl who don't know the purpose or joy of writing a good acrostic. When I was first introduced to this form I came upon it through a man who didn't write them well. I gave him comments on how I thought it could be written & now he's improved immensely. I cringe at a lot of Acrostics also. This is one of my fav forms as when I'm inspired with a title then Father guides me in the rest as well! I'm an inspired writer since about age 7 & I claim no glory for that as it's a gift He gave me that I've much joy in relinquishing myself to. I'm a Music Minister/Singer Songwriter/Poet & I'm bound to declare Him, so I almost always have His word in my AN since He's the Author & I'm a scribe. Your words of encouragement are well received as I know that many don't even bother to read the AN. There's no loss in any of this 'cause I'm serving Him & doing my Bible Study at the same time! Blessings to you dear one. I'm so pleased to know you read His word & will begin to again post it.
