small voice

listen
Do you hear it?
That soft voice
Trying to speak out

It speaks of freedom
Just beyond the door
It speaks of ending
This pointless war

Such a strong dedication
such a passion lying within the heart
But the fire was quenched
By our leader

Peace
that once was large
now, is but a tiny voice
trying to quell our anger

why must we carry the blood
of others on our hands
why must we ignore
the cries for peace

we musn't let peace fade
we must lay down our swords
We musn't
let hope die

listen to that voice
Let go of this war
stop the blood shed
and let there be peace

What did you think
