She was left to comets and stars and wishing she could feel the rain on her face; instead all she could feel was the blood and filth and pain. She wanted to see the trees and the sky and touch the sun; but she was left with dirty walls and an iron table that she stayed as far away from as possible. She pulled the needles from her skin, tried to wipe the blood and dirt from her face and to create this dungeon into her room. She failed.
Gods, she just wanted out.
But he was back again.

Congratulations on the Honourable Mention

Poetically, this rocked my world; the power of the simplistic imagery hits out strong and makes me pause everything I'm doing and sit in awe of the words
Painfully penned, gorgeous through and through

Stay safe
