We値l spend the summer in the attic
So we can feed the hungry ghosts
We made some plans to be together
To face the things we fear the most
If I show the things that I brought
Would you keep an open mind?
A book of matches and some apples
And these old Venetian Blinds
We値l hang the paintings on the windows
Of all the places we should see
We値l keep a guard by the front door
So that we can get some sleep
You show me all the things that you brought
A rusty haircut and dry ice
This was more than I could ask for
Save some seldom peace, advice
We値l hang some paintings in the windows
Of all the things that we should see
We値l keep a guard by the front door
So that we can get some sleep
I致e got nothing left to say to you
So please don稚 let me speak
Instead of counting days by numbers
Let痴 just make it through this week
We値l spend the summer in the attic
So we can feed the hungry ghosts
We made some plans to be together
To face the things we fear the most
I'm afraid that I could be with you
From this day until I die
I've got nothing left to say to you
So please don't make me try

Welcome to Allpoetry
This is spooky almost.
I like that hungry ghost part.
I like it very much.
Be well

Welcome to AllPoetry!
I really like the feeling of peace and silence of this poem
it is well written, the flow and rhyme are good
the only thing that I would suggest is to have some punctuation to help the reader know where to pause and reflect
well done!
